CensorNet’s CEO, Ed Macnair, was last night presented with the Serial Entrepreneur award at the sixth annual Worshipful Company of Information Technologists (WCIT) Enterprise Awards. The ceremony took place at The Brewery in the City of London on 30th June and was conducted by Liveryman John O’Connell. The award celebrates Ed’s achievements over the course of his career and highlights the success of CensorNet under his leadership.

Formed in 1986 and granted Livery status in 1992, Worshipful Company of Information Technologists works to promote the IT industry. Its awards recognize the very best of the UK and Ireland’s technology entrepreneurial talent. CensorNet was also shortlisted for Scale-up Growth, Enterprise, and The Judges Special Awards.

On winning the award, Ed Macnair said, “I’m absolutely thrilled to have been presented with this award. I’ve dedicated my career to building companies that can truly protect people and businesses from cyber threats – and never has that been more important than it is today. CensorNet is one of those businesses and being shortlisted in a number of categories, alongside some very stiff competition, is not only an honor, but also evidence of the whole team’s achievements. My congratulations to all the other winners who are making great strides in shaping the technology industry of the future.”
