CensorNetthe complete cloud security company, today announces it has strengthened its presence in EMEA through the appointment of Matt Cross as Sales Director in the UK and has engaged with two Value Added Distributors (VAD) to strengthen its presence in the DACH region and the Middle East and Africa.

At the beginning of March, CensorNet appointed Matt Cross as UK Sales Director to accelerate CensorNet’s aggressive growth strategy. Cross has spent more than 15 years in sales roles for technology companies including SecureData Europe, Alternative Networks and Scalable Communications. Prior to joining CensorNet, Cross headed the direct sales business at SecureData Europe, a leading Managed Security Services Provider. In his new role, Cross is responsible for delivering significant growth in the UK business through an increased focus on the mid-large enterprise sector, and by leveraging his strong channel relationships to enable and mobilise the partner community.

‘It’s an exciting time to be joining CensorNet – the technology and pace of innovation at this company is inspiring, and is being developed to address the real needs of businesses either moving to the Cloud, or wanting to optimise their investments by consolidating technologies,’ said Cross.

In addition, CensorNet has engaged Dubai distributor Credence Security in the Middle East and Africa, as well as Infinigate in the DACH region. Both VADs will be working closely with CensorNet to offer the cyber security company’s advanced cloud security products, including its Unified Security Service (USS) to enterprises and resellers in their respective regions. The deals further expand CensorNet’s global reach, and addresses the growing demand for Cloud security solutions across the world. The partnership provides the distributors with access to a unique Cloud security solution that consolidates point solutions into one easy to manage platform.

Ed Macnair, CensorNet CEO, commented; “Security is a critical consideration for every organisation around the world and, as cloud computing becomes increasingly popular businesses need a way to effectively protect their data and employees. These recent appointments will fast-track our growth in the UK, as well as across EMEA. We are excited to have Matt, as well as Credence and Infinigate, join the CensorNet family.”

In addition, as part of CensorNet’s on-going commitment to continuous product improvements, it recently released its latest upgrade to CensorNet USS, which positively impacts performance, reliability, level of protection provided and user experience. These updates include the addition of time quotas, enhanced reporting and an improved scheduling system.  Full details of new and enhanced features can be seen here.
