Censornet has today announced the appointment of Tim Warner in the position of VP of Sales. The appointment comes as Censornet continues on a steep growth trajectory, with its market leading platform securing companies in their move to the cloud.

Tim Warner, Censornet VP of Sales

Most recently Warner served at various Director level roles at Zscaler, at the helm of the sales team, driving its growth in the cloud security market. His other previous roles include Head of Northern Europe at Finjan Software Ltd, VP of Sales at M86 Security, and VP of SWG Sales at Trustwave – with over three decades of security experience in total.

Warner joins as Censornet experiences a period of growth. The company was named as the third fastest growing tech company in the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 2018. Since then, it has launched the Autonomous Security Engine (ASE) – the first product on the market that allows it’s best-in-class cloud, web and email security products to share security events, context and state data in real-time, bringing automated attack prevention to organisations.

Warner is tasked with driving sales, channel partnerships and international expansion, furthering Censornet’s goals to lead the charge in the cloud security platform market.

Tim Warner, VP Sales at Censornet, said: “I am thrilled and privileged to have joined Censornet, and excited by the opportunity to accelerate the company’s already impressive growth trajectory. During the last five years I have witnessed, and been involved first-hand in, the staggering transformation companies are embarking on with their move to the cloud, in conjunction with their ever demanding mobility challenges. Censornet’s multi-tenanted Cloud Security Platform is perfectly poised to secure that move to the cloud and take advantage of a growing market, delivering excellent growth. Due to Censornet’s unique architecture, innovation and differentiators I am looking forward to driving this growth and success for the company, and helping security teams achieve more with less.”

Ed Macnair, CEO of Censornet, said: “I am delighted to welcome Tim to the Censornet team. He brings with him a wealth of experience in the cyber security industry, which I know will be invaluable. Tim has a brilliant track record from his time at Zscaler, with unparalleled experience in cloud security and transformation, making him the perfect addition to the company at this point in our journey. I can’t wait to see what we achieve in the coming months.”
