Censornet, the Autonomous Integrated Cloud Security provider, has announced that Alison Griffiths has been appointed to the new position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Censornet is a high-growth British cyber security player, focused on helping mid-market organisations defend against cyber-attacks. Its Cyber Security platform integrates intelligence across email, web, and cloud, to provide cyber security protection around the clock, even when IT teams are offline. Censornet competes with large cyber security vendors, including Zscaler, Symantec, Netskope, and Mimecast, to name just a few.

“Ali is a highly experienced marketing leader with a proven track record of delivering strategy, communications and marketing transformation in the technology sector, including her recognition as one of B2B Marketing’s 2019 ‘Top Women in Tech’,” says Ed Macnair, Censornet CEO. “Her experience and vision will help propel Censornet forward during our next period of accelerated growth, ensuring that companies around the world can benefit from our best-in-class cyber security.”

Griffiths brings P&L and international management experience acquired in global brands, such as Coca-Cola, Aviva, ExxonMobil, and Virgin Media. Previously, she was Director of Strategy at Innovate Finance, the UK industry body for global FinTech. Her wider experience encompasses tech, cloud infrastructure, DevOps and FinOps.

“Censornet is distinctively positioned to ensure mid-sized firms can get the very best cyber protection. Its Autonomous Integrated Cloud Security platform does just that, combining the power of email, web and cloud to stop multi-channel cyberattack” says Griffiths. “I’m proud to join such an innovative, purpose-led company, creating a real impact in the field of cybersecurity.
