Taiwan’s presidential office website was hit by a “foreign DDoS attack” earlier today, according to reports, with traffic 200 times higher than usual that took the site offline for 20 minutes.
The attack comes just before US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s planned visit to Taiwan, the first by an elected US official in 25 years.
