Censornet shortlisted for four awards at 2020 Computing Security Excellence Awards

The 2020 Computing Security Excellence Awards’ shortlist has been revealed and Censornet has been nominated in four categories. These include ‘Cloud Security Award’, ‘Email Security Award’, ‘SME Security Solution Award’ and ‘Security Vendor of the Year – SME’.

Censornet’s nominations across multiple awards this year carries on the trend from last year’s Computing Security Excellence Awards, which saw the company win the ‘SME Security Solution Award’ highlighting the increasing relevance and awareness of Censornet’s offering. This continued recognition in 2020 demonstrates a business commitment to be the go-to, all-in-one security platform for organisations of all sizes.

Helping more than 1,500 businesses keep thousands of customers safe from countless security threats across multiple channels, Censornet is laser-focused on making the protection process as simple as possible for clients. It achieves this through the integration of best-in-class email security, web security, CASB and MFA solutions into one cost-effective, efficient and robust platform. This connected approach brings previously siloed point products together simplifying management, shrinking blind-spots, and preventing a breakdown in communication between products, which is an all-too-common reality for businesses when purchasing an array of services.

Ed Macnair, CEO of Censornet, said: “We are thrilled to have received four nominations for this year’s Security Excellence Awards. We feel this is a testament to Censornet’s connected approach to business security, so it’s a real honour to have this recognised.

“Everything we do is with our customers in mind, working closely with them to understand the challenges they face and the tools they need to thrive. We recognise that these businesses are typically both time-poor and resource-strained, especially in this current climate, so we’re determined to stand shoulder to shoulder with them and deliver the security solutions necessary to ensure their operations remain secure.”

As new security threats continue to emerge, Censornet works tirelessly to enhance its platform with new technologies. Businesses continue to shift their way of working to the cloud for smoother communications at speed, which has led Censornet to introduce Defence365. This addition supports organisations as they make the switch to a cloud-focused approach, providing a secure Office 365 experience. In addition, Censornet created the Autonomous Security Engine (ASE) to enable traditionally siloed services to share security context, state data and events while leveraging world-class threat intelligence to provide automatic 24/7 protection 365 days a year, without analyst or SecOps involvement.

The Security Excellence Awards are run by Computing, one of the UK’s most read and prestigious technology media outlets. They cover every element of success within the security landscape, from education to email, aiming to highlight the achievements of the IT industry’s leading security companies, solutions, products and personalities.

The winners will be announced during a virtual ceremony on Wednesday 2nd December.
