  • Partnership streamlines provisioning, management, and billing to deliver a service which is profitablefor KPN’s Partner Network of resellers & MSPs.

Basingstoke, UK, 25th April 2023: Censornet, the UK-based leader in integrated cloud security, and KPN are partnering to launch Censornet’s cloud security platform to KPN’s Dutch mid-market customers and partners. In the face of increasingly sophisticated threats, many struggle to manage the growing cost and complexity of protecting themselves. The partnership will make enterprise-grade cybersecurity achievable for these mid-sized organisations.

KPN will offer Censornet’s cloud security platform via RoutIT, and its Partner network of managed service providers (MSPs) in The Netherlands. RoutIT works with KPN’s mid-market customers to provide them with a one-stop shop for their telecom, IT and security needs. The partnership will support organisations looking to combine security and networking from a single partner.

Boris van Beek, Director of SMEs at KPN commented: “Launching Censornet as the next phase of our security product line will enable us to protect users whether on or off the KPN network. This is critical for today’s mobile workforce, which has seen traditional boundaries dissolved. Censornet’s technology is seamlessly integrated into our KPN Partner Network to enable our customers to simply purchase, then plug-and-play enterprise-grade cyber security.”

With 58 per cent of Dutch businesses taking a hybrid approach to work, Censornet protects organisations’ major attack surface from all threats, wherever they may work, on any device. Censornet’s platform integrates best-in-class email security, web security, cloud application security (CASB), Identity as a Service (IDaaS) and adaptive multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions into one line of defence. Businesses benefit from end-to-end attack visibility – all in one dashboard.

Censornet’s platform is specifically designed for managed service provider and telco partners: it is easily customised and branded, multi-tenant and 100 percent API-driven to enable a scalable and profitable business with mid-sized customers.

Charles Milton, VP Alliances, Censornet, commented: “There is a significant market opportunity for telcos and managed service providers looking to make cybersecurity consumable for the mid-market. Small- and medium-sized businesses require a different approach to procuring and using cybersecurity solutions. One that is simplified and integrated. We see great synergies between our platform and the KPN Partner Network. Together, we can protect KPN’s customers from escalating threats whilst enabling KPN to deliver services profitably and at mid-market scale. We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership.”

In February 2022, KPN Ventures invested in Censornet’s Series C funding round to accelerate the availability of enterprise-grade security to mid-market organisations.
